Project Management - It is essential that Bridon IT Support Ltd provides adequate forward planning and co-ordination for all installations Bridon IT Support Ltd will provide full project management as an integral and essential part of an overall project. The installation pricing covers all costs associated with the provision of project management.

 

The project management functions provided by Bridon are described below. The Bridon nominated project manager will be responsible for ensuring that they are carried out, and will act as a focal point of contact for all contractual matters.

 

The main aspects of the Bridon project manager’s role for the duration of the cabling project will be to ensure that the following aspects are thoroughly covered:

 

Ensuring that contract negotiations, quotations, amendments and claims are dealt with swiftly and proficiently.

Acting as spokesman for Bridon on project management matters relating to planning, progress and procedures.

Attendance at any relevant project meetings with client personnel.

Day to day liaison on all elements relating to the installation and testing of the cabling system.

Liaison with the client project team regarding any problems arising from the site preparation, environment or any other factor influencing the equipment or cabling system installation.

Planning, organisation and control.

Production of overall project plans relating to Bridon areas of responsibility, identifying activities, key milestones and dependencies.

Updating of plans in line with contractual and/or operational changes.

Planning, organisation and control of all Bridon activities relating to deliveries, installation and testing of cabling system.

Civil Works - Bridon I T Support design, install and certify all network topologies.

Our capabilities allow us to perform many extra activities, which may be required before cables are pulled. This could include civil works like external duct laying, diamond drilling, overhead catenary work and all containment work. containment includes steel channels, metal tray and basket installation both suspended and below  floors, all metal box containment and steel conduit tube. PVC trunking  includes all types of dado and  power poles.  Together with our approved partners we can supply all electrical work. Including major installs

Certification and fault finding - Bridon provides Certification to 3rd parties, we are aware that some electrical engineers are now install data cables on small projects and  often  enquire after our services to test and provide a certification certificate.

Cabinet  Refit and Tidy

Over time, communications cabinets can start to get full and untidy making it increasing difficult and prone to mistakes by engineers when patching in, why not ditch the spaghetti and start with a fresh looking cabinet that has been re address using the correct size patch leads and cable management. We can even provide a full audit and patching report.
